Idea: Training Hall

Hello :)

I am in the process of testing builds for my summoner. I've tried lots of different combinations in the past 2 days. And I find that the system could be improved to make it more efficient and enjoyable for players.

I suggest adding a new location to the game - I call it the Training Hall. It would work as follows:
  • Instead of having class trainers spread all over the place there would be a portal to enter a special chamber where each class would find their trainer. Optionally the trainers could offer a tp option for the Training Hall.
  • The trainer inside the hall would have an additional option for summoning opponents to test created builds with a possibility to choose between training dummies (normal, blue ring, red ring...) and mobs (also different strengths, possibly also a selection of different kinds of mobs).
  • EDIT: It would also be nice to have an option "Duel Mode" for party members - for those of us who prefer to train pvp in private or the low level players so they don't get killed by AoE of high levels or as a result of "clearing space before duel"/simply ganking that some players like to do in the arenas
  • The trainer inside the hall could also be a universal trainer - since they all offer same options.
  • The hall should be large enough for kiting and range abilities.
  • One would be able to enter it alone or in a party.
  • Ideal would also be to add some way to save the tested builds at least for the time you are in the hall, so that quick switch is possible (yes, I know that there is an addon that does it, but I think it would be nice to have as a default feature)
I personally dislike using training dummies and usually test on mobs. I can imagine I am not the only one who prefers that, there are many factors apart from only dps numbers that play a role. But whatever is used - right now you have to do a lot of running around after every reset and it costs time (also potions time) and energy that could be put to better use. And it is even much worse without the addon that saves the builds and task bars, because having to set everything manually every time you want to re-test a previously tested build is a pain...

That's all, I think. I hope this idea can be put to reality in some form one day. :) I would be happy about such change.

EDIT:
If the above is too complicated/difficult to do - another option I thought about would be a new ability to summon trainer anywhere as long as one has a Droplet of Death (for example by clicking on it), similar to mercenaries contract ability. Actually that might even be preferable...
