Im just wondering when you people will realize russia doesn't give 2 craps about this server lol. They do not care a single bit about this server because their own servers are booming like mad. We are a side project that's in the ranks of "meh, its there. just let it run til it dies it will all be good, not like it matters"

And why should they care? They have a massive, insanely popular MMO at home. They shouldn't even bother wasting their time with us to be honest.

Well after 4 years+ of playing Allods and spending a lot of money I log in today to find my account has been banned. I have NEVER exploited in this game and TBH I have never posted on the forums either in all that time. So well done Allods server first, your incompetence finally got me to post. How you guys can expect players to remain calm while they fall behind for being wrongfully banned just further amazes me. Nice job great way to kill the game.

They don't know what they are looking for just wide angle spraying in hopes they hit something. If each player is valued at 1.2-1.6mill a day pre-transition for 30min time at 12hour intervals buying on the up tick making 50k sales on the down tick at the 100g rate every 4 day's of repair playing with 500+ on F2P or 28m per player without ever touching the astral it would take more than one reset of the exchanger on F2P server and rummaging through data they don't have for P2P to get the right shot's in. Now that every bag on F2P is holding hot metal, and many on P2P let's see how many roadblock's they are prepared to install along the way.

Honestly, I have not seen a similar situation on another game mismanaged so poorly

I have. I won't get into much in terms of details, but if anyone was over there at the time, they might recognise the "Loot Rune" situation. Well, it wasn't just Loot Runes, but a whole bunch of similar runes - the ones I had were Loot Runes. (These runes were like runes used to be in Allods, fitted into slots drilled in each piece of gear. Some runes could only be fitted into weapons, some only in armour, and so on. Loot Runes gave a +% bonus to your chance to get drops when looting monsters, and gave more loot as well.)

Anyway, they had a sale on special-bonus runes like Loot III, of which I had two bought directly from their CS and a third that I bought in their AH ridiculously cheap embedded in a weapon, as if someone had fat-fingered the price or forgotten it was there. Anyway, shortly after the sale ended, someone found an exploit, shared it somewhere and a bunch of people duplicated bazillions of runes.

OK, (bad words) happens. Find out who did it, ban them, done.

But no, they did that, and also promised to remove all special-bonus runes of III or above (the Loot rune was only available in III, as were most of the others) if they thought they were suspect. No criteria were given and the wording basically implied that if you had any at all you might be hit, and I and many others were reasonably concerned that our legitimate purchases would be taken away. Furthermore, when pressed for clarification, it became clear that if you obtained in some way a tainted rune, it would taint any others it was stacked with, maybe.

While I got out of it unscathed (I took precautions including prying the runes out of their slots), a substantial number of people were less lucky, and in all cases, when their "fix" removed runes from gear, the rune slots were removed as well, which is normally a CS purchase to recover. Their reaction to people's reactions was almost "shrug, yeah, whatever". Not actually that, but dangerously close.

The whole situation cost them a bunch of players, including me. I left not because I got hit by the situation, but because the whole thing was catastrophically badly handled, with completely opaque statements and a clear indication that their customer service policies were entirely arbitrary.

By contrast, when another game had the "Armbrace of Truth" incident, as I heard it, exploiters were banned, but an amnesty was declared on the items themselves and they remained in-game as a sort of informal auxiliary currency for player-to-player purchases above the limit for gold that characters can carry.
Now f2p 60 Xadaganian summy with 60/60/60 tailor/weaponsmith/alchemist, bleah gear, 555/555 runes
Now p2p 28 Xadaganian avenger with 20 weaponsmith
I'm on an extended break from Allods at the moment, but I'm lurking here to keep up with what's happening. From the looks of things in 5.0.02, I'm better off where I am.

I think this unjust needs to be made known we should try contacting all the MMO sites publishers it would be good saucy news for them and we can seek redress through mass media!

Spent $1,800+ on the gems/crystals/gpots before merge, banned after merge for getting them back thru the same system I spent them on. Seems legit mother f----rs!! GMs just can't keep their hands of my d--k since the merge.

P.S. I've contacted the NA GM before I've spent the $ on crystals and they said "AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT DOING THE TRADE ROUTE BUG YOU GOT NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, WE CAN NOT TELL YOU WHAT TO DO WITH THE PURCHASED CRYSTALS." I said ok thank you, they said hope that helped.

Oh and rate is back up where it was, you gonna ban the remaining half the server now?? <cut>

Was that really necesary?

People don't seem to understand what they have done wrong here. There should probably be some clarification for people.

I have spent time talking with the NA GM, and explained all, and I got the green light go.
I've spent MY MONEY on the CRYSTALS I can do what ever <cut> I WANT WITH THEM!
So have other players as well, there has been on player that got banned on NA and after they checked where the gold came from (his wallet)
They unbanned right away.
Now he is banned for the same <cut> thing again?! Are you serious <cut>???

I really don't like when that word is used. Or when players insult eachother.

Was any league player's banned?
Or was the player's targeted any Empire who made purchases from the currency exchanger when it was removed at 33g-49g which would explain why it was reverted back to 34g. I know for certain there were no or very few participating exploiters banned, and only from F2P server but you have to wonder how small a scope they used to target anyone for what reason's. It's interesting really.
from what i've heard today is that over half of dark councils members were banned due to this so now the guild is basically dead, i don't know if its true or not but its what i've heard from friends.

Here is the <cut> proof as well of the conversation with one of the people (PioPico)

Naughty naughty. Do we really have to use that word every time possible?

So its against the terms of game to spend your crystals how you want to spend them? Seems like it's ok to spend money on crystals but if you plan to use them...then they must ban you.....what a joke.

Seems so!!
And reply above it may be different company, but I've paid for my shit like every other p2w person did and have done.
Find in rules where it says I can not buy game currency and trade it for gold find it!!

Maybe is some elaborated plot to bring NA players/guild down :D timing of certain events seem to be too much of a coincidence?

Honestly, if I caught myself in such fuck up, I'd just lift all bans that were made instantly. :/ That's like genociding 6 million jews only because of the few that run the banks, man.

The big problem i am seeing is that its apparently ok to have used the inflated (due to tr exploiters) gold exchange for in game currency pre merger to now purchase ingame via the auction house (scrolls mounts ect) and apparently thats ok. But if i then took that inflated gold over to the merged servers and used it to buy in game currency to purchase/gamble on the radiant boxes for the same items u can be banned ? both are using the same profits from exploiting (due to the exploiters not the person exchanging the gold/game currency) to achieve the same end.
Now tbh the gold exchange rates in NA were extremley high but a person cannot be blamed for someone elses exploits in the game that caused the exchange rate to go so high- u have several posts in this forum regarding -how can i make gold - and most point out the system of buy currency when its low/sell when its high.. basic economics.
What we are seeing here is failure by both Ru and Gpot to have handled the merger of servers/exchange rate and r now punishing players for failure to address this problem at the time of the merge. The simple solution was at time of merger that the gold/game currency be balanced between both severs eg if shard are worth 50-1 na and eu was 20-1 u average it out to 35-1 and change peoples gold amounts/shard amounts. same with the actual gold amounts on each server if na server has 1million gold per 10 peaople and eu has only 500k u average it out again and adjust accounts to suit. Basicly this seems like a one way attack to Na players only- there was a big rush of eu players creating na accounts before merger doing exactly what u suposedly call an offence u can be banned for. The excuses of we at Ru cannot check is the what happened in Gpots time of managment is a poor excuse - what ud buy a company without keeping there records/sales data?

pfft i think ive ranted enough but my basic point is that u are punishing the wrong people in all this- the blame goes to the orignal Trade route exloiters and your own misshandling of the change over between Ru and Gpot

Weren't you supposed to change the gem shards/crystals/gpots to boutique coins before the merge?

39

Friday, May 23rd 2014, 10:25am

tbh i dont care who got banned or didnt.

but stop saying that you didnt do anything wrong :DD
you all knew before merge that gold ratio on EU server was 20-25... and after merge it would be same...
when on the NA server was like 100+

so basicly you all topd up just before merge to "support the game" ...but instead of keeping your currency...you converted all into gold..
and as soon as new server went up all NA players that got banned yesterday converted that gold into crystals...so you had a profit of 5x more than what you should have :D...if not even more

don't like when people are hypocrites ^^-

But yea clever use of game mechanics

next time when you really wanna "support the game", dont do things that will make it worse for the rest of the server.
just because you find something that you can abuse and isnt agaisnt the rules doesnt mean that you should do it :P

anyway most of ppl will get unbanned.

Since the rate is where it was it seems,

Means that the gold exploiters are still alive and kikin ;)

Oh one of the reasons i also quited this game, its bcz no matter what companny takes care of it, Gpotato, Webzen, My.com, they dont have a clue on managment, rule aplication or problem solving. i mean complete lack of experience to deal whit problems that affect the server, probably also lack of decent tools to do so.

Banning half a server to fix the economy, and some hours later, the economy is again on the same spot it was :D.
Only solution they can figur out now, is to ban all the other remaining players :D

Basically they are feeding players to other games that will lunch soon, instead of trying to make you stay, they make you want to leave and quit xD
:) :) :)
