Pegasus vs Mirage

So, both have max speed 16.58

mirage can swim and fight (usfull for battleground)
while pegasus can leap and heal

i want to know: mirage is a battlemount so it needs batterys... do ALL abilities need batterys or just some?
cause on the oracle-site it does not say that "shift" consumes charges, so is it "free"?

And about the "galopp", it says 15 m/s max, does it even increase the speed of pegasus and mirage then?

Also, the flight ability says if mount levels up, cd is reduced to 1 sec. at level 11, i guess thats an error and it means 1 minute right?

Mirage/Wraith will always be faster because of the flash skill, which is free and has only 10s cooldown. The combat abilities require energy charges (30 for 1 mana battery).

Pegasus can only jump every 1 minute at max level, so Mirage will always win in a race. The Pegasus also cannot swim

Mirage is very hard to TS as well. It is almost impossible to do so, unless the mount is in the hands of a complete noob.

most mounts except the snail-like ones (normal horse wolf and rhino) are aalready hard to TS

I'm afraid you don't know how to TS properly in that case. But yes Wraith is superior to pegasus by all means, even the hp is twice higher.

if enemy is targeted and goes simply away with his mount then he is out of range soon, thats what i meant

i personally have NEVER used TS item since i see it as a waste, just have seen it in action against me

I TS people all the time. Getting a successful TS buff on someone is about as fun as it gets for me. I'd probably rather TS a man in the back than fight him face to face in an equal duel.
