No I don't want steam! Its bad enough they gave us this mail.ru client.
Offtopic(so to say): Why do all games nowdays have to install a client like mail.ru to be able to download? Why can't we simply go to site and have torent/ direct download options install the game and that's all? For my personal taste it ruins every f mood i have of trying a new game, having to install a stupid no use program and only after be able to actually install the game.

i agree totally!
i rather start a game with a simple .exe that starts the game and finish
i understand however that the normal allods launcher mainly has a technical reason to exist due to the way the updates work, while i do NOT understand that you cannot simple disable seeding in it and have to block uploading otherwise (firewallrules)

info: you can uninstall/delete the mail.ru client and play/ update through Launcher.exe!
thats what i do :)

And that is why I still play allods cus you can find a way past the client, but there are loads of games out there wich are nice and beautifull but you can't find a way around that client

Most MMORPGs on Steam can be launched with or without the steam client anyways

Yeah so in that case it wouldn't really change anything (viewing from the playerbase's side) and add a lot of extra advertisement
Blindoz
Blindos
Blintrez
And so on..

We have asked them about this before..
They have looked into putting the game onto steam in the past (back when it was still published by gPotato) but they were not able to reach an agreement with them at the time.
Soon they'll look for the old email (it was a few years ago, so it might take a bit of digging) and see if the reasons an agreement could not be arranged are something that can be resolved now.

so, its been brought up, but there are no promises that it can / will happen.

If a agreement is met, I take it Allods would have to be greenlit?

Especially for a game that's been out for several years...
Now f2p 60 Xadaganian summy with 60/60/60 tailor/weaponsmith/alchemist, bleah gear, 555/555 runes
Now p2p 28 Xadaganian avenger with 20 weaponsmith
I'm on an extended break from Allods at the moment, but I'm lurking here to keep up with what's happening. From the looks of things in 5.0.02, I'm better off where I am.
