That would require too much gold and amalgam... unless they would make those too a lot easier to gain. But I do agree that it's rather annoying that everything has a very strict limit. Some years ago you at least had 20 astral keys per month.need like 50 upgraders instead of like 5

The Caps are here to control progression. Imagine if there would be no restriction, some players would already be full gear and there will be a huge gape between players that can't play that much and the top players (they could do 50 keys by week easy, some people finish their key on friday). But still you need to have a lot of time to be able to reach all the limits.
I personally think it's a good thing. The difference is already big between players so if there were no limitations, some players would just give up. On a personal point of view, I understand it might be bothering you, if you can play a lot, but if you look at the all picture, it's definitely a good thing.
