its really a pity, wild shore is now only interesting for gearing, but for gold its almost worthless
better farm koe

as for the "why":
i think they underestimated the will of ppl farming these areas
i saw ppl with almost max gear farming in FD 6 or 7 crowns at once, getting amounts of gold / min which where equal or even better to the old rabbits

i hurried to unlock FD myself only for the reason of farming the refractos, gear was secondary
now, where refractors became almost worthless i am no longer in a hurry to reach al rihat, gear does no longer boost my farming-income in any relevant way :P

maybe bc exchange will even go down because of this change

honestly the amount of ppl farming gold there was making really hard to get ur weekly epic or leggy loot solo. so this could be the only good thing this patch brought to us so far

this problem could have been solved better by simply giving player the ability to open new channels independent on the amount of others

idk, that sounds like 300+ useless instances for the server to keep opened. i'm not a technician, and i have no clue how a mmorpg server actually works, but as a noob it doesnt sound that much of a better solution to me. not saying u're wrong tho, just speaking as someone who has no idea about how that stuff actually works.

i think technical effort (server load) would be equal to what the astral instances need
plus that most players want to play in groups anyway (-> join channel 1 or 2), so there wouldnt be too many instancs at all in the end


what i think is a pity is that before refractor-nerf gearing and farming was the same... now its no longer useful to be in wild shore if you have used your weekly keys / loot...

only maybe positive i can think of is that koe might get more population this way
