hey,

So my guildmates & I happen to have too many upgraders of one gear piece lol. Is there a way to convert them like there was in prev patch with the coins ?

Fantastic question and I am eagerly hoping they will be adding that in the future because waste...is wasteful.

Right now, there is no way to do that. But I wonder how can you have too many of a specific upgraders, since you don't get a lot of them as astral drops. I mostly get universal upgraders, so if I'd have too many of a certain type of upgrader, it would be because I bought too many of them from the npc.. which I shouldn't have in the first place.

That, or I'm missing something, and the gear-specific drops are actually common in s3.

Not that it happens to me that often but its a guessing game on how many are actually needed to upgrade. Never know when you will actually get a double and it can be a pain the bum running back and forth to the upgrader person and the anvil.

Gear specific drops are also common in s1 and s2. I think I have had a universal drop 1 time in s2.

One example for me was, I was at 79% on an item. 65 green on reinc. I bought 2 upgraders after Atral run (after using the upgraders I had) I got 2 cursed with it.
So 2 upgraders.
2 cursed upgraders.
I used 1 upgrader got double upgrade.
I used 2nd upgrader got double upgrade.
Made blue 65.
Left over with 2 cursed.

lol i toss the cursed ones cause that's just a way for the P2W players.

I am meaning when I run s1's, (cause s2's is too hard) i mostly buy after a few runs quite some upgraders, since u need 18, sometimes a double upgrade so i buy like 15/14 cause of laziness) and yes then it happens i get more doubles. nice ofc but then i'm screwed with the leftovers =/ it'd be really nice to add that option again . no one would die from it and tbh, it would only improve players' moods :)
