The NPCs are crap. They wouldn't be so bad if they disappeared after an objective was met (kill marked/capture zone changes) or they had a smaller movement range. Getting chased by a gang of mindless NPCs keeping you in combat for half the map, like you're in some kinda lame 1980s zombie movie is stupid.
All this "you can use them tactically in 1000 ways!!!" stuff is just people talking smack. I don't think we need to remove them altogether, but if they're gonna stay in the game then they need to be changed a bit so they're not so awful.
Anyone know if that's going to happen in a future patch?
Directly from 6.2 patch with google translator:
- Outside health monsters significantly reduced, damage is also reduced. Reduced number of points receives a command from killing monsters.
Added the display of the number of health of the victim, and the
standard-bearer in the "Marked for Death" and "Capture the Flag",
respectively.- Number of health of the victim is now increased by 25%.
- In "Capture the Flag" tailor banner character now moves 15% slower.
In "Capture the Flag" can no longer use the ability to engineer "Flying
Platform" and the ability of the priest "Shield of holiness."- Points are now trapped on the 15% slower mode "capture points".
- Fixed a bug due to which in the "Marked for Death" effect "Victim" ceased to appear, if the victim left the battle.
- Fixed a bug due to which in the "Marked for Death" the victim could choose as a passenger with a zipper.
That "zipper" is the new rank 7 mount which can carry another ppl on, so prolly for that bug which can be abused maybe they wotn release until next patch...but this is just my opinion.
