do anything and everything you can to ensure it is 100% not on the user end eg. experiment with features, quality, ensure drivers/directX are up to date, ensure drives that games are installed to are functioning properly etc. You'd be surprised how a minor mundane thing can wreck performance.

Please fix the problems and make sure everything has been tested before it is released. If the program still has problem, please roll back the program to Sept 8.
