well for ppl without goblin helper its also pretty nice to get the ability to switch incarnation skills whereever you are

no need to go to the annoying npc anymore

Let's put it this way,

Aside from the above mentioned factor of not having to swap abilities for the duration of the effect (which is great in itself), having more options for all battle situations is never weak. There are all manner of incarnation combos and being able to pick and choose between two (rather than one) non-class abilities in a pinch is very useful. As a Summoner/Healer myself, having both means my Summoner has a self-save and a save for an outsider, whilst my healer has a short CC/Interrupt and an additional defense mechanism (for anyone I choose).

Being able to use both together in either case is strong, of course, but just having the choice 'at the time' is not to be sniffed at.

Just my 2cents.
