**PVP**
vs non healing enemy -> brut / prof = 50/50
wizards emblem boosts prof a LOT, consider this; usually taking a bit less prof will do good results
vs healing enemy -> as much brut as possible if you plan to kill, as much prof as possible if you are most likely only help killing it but dont land the killing strike yourself
class like paladin & warrior, especially when speced tank, will endure a LOT
without enough prof you wont get them under 90%
healers however without enough brut you wont get under 30%
so there is no universal spec
when i go spin spin spin i prefer high prof as i usually dont kill but just slow and annoy enemies and healers heal them up, brut wont become handy here
when i go not only spin but also select single tagets i go high brut so i can even kill healers or MVP
MVP usually has high caution; in this case you need brut even more, otherwise wou will be "stuck" at 40%
you see its more complex in PVP
myself, i usually put 200+ of 310 statpoints in brut
determination wont go up properly in PVP and is not a good idea in almost every case (exception? when you get doubledamage raspberry buff and go for whirling inmiddle of whole enemy team with assault aspect

but when they focus/cc you and no healer the fun will be over fast )
determination is more or less only for PVE
optimal PVE is calculation:
1 Deter @ 100% = 1,6 prof
brut & deter shall be divided so its like 50/50 brut / prof
exception is raidboss which starts becoming more dangerous onc HP are 50% or less
theoretically full raid should get max brut here
