One summer evening, a trio of young Gibberlings were exploring the Defiled Ruins, where they eventually stumbled upon a well hidden cave. Judging by the amount of dust it contained, they concluded that the cave had not been entered in a very, very, very long time.

After delving into the depths without much hesitation, it didn't take long for them to discover an ancient looking chest. Despite its age, the lock securing its contents was still surprisingly strong - though our young Gibberlings, after much difficulty, were able to open the chest thanks to the persistence of curiosity (and a very big rock). They were almost disappointed to find that the contents of this ancient chest was nothing but a single book. Curious, they began reading - only to discover that it was not just any old book... It was the The Study Of Perfection, an ancient text said to instruct the reader how to increase their stat points.

While some would deem it as a treasure worth keeping secret, the generous Gibberlings opted to spread its word - with a little payment for their efforts, of course. And so, it was inevitable that Goblin Banker would get his hands on it and make special copies.
