In this fractured world there are places where the light never reaches.

Even the so-called heroes of Sarnaut cannot truly escape the darkness within themselves.

They may strut and boast about their deeds, but few will tell you the dark truth behind their power.

You see every single hero in this world got to where they are today by murdering literally THOUSANDS of animals!

They don'd kill them for meat or fur...that would be understandable. No, they kill them only for their EXP. Thousands of soft, fluffy, wondrous creatures butchered in their homes each day to feed the greed of adventurers and the reincarnations of adventurers.

Into this violence a different type of hero was born and she became known as...

The Squirrel!

Someone to stand up against the meaningless slaughter of tiny animals.

With her magical cape of ethically-farmed fox tales and surrounded by loyal, fluffy companions she steps into the night.

Wherever the squeak of a dying fieldmouse is heard.

Wherever a fox is hunted for his Mark of Dilligence.

She will be there.

Try to forget that you grew strong on the murder of innocents if you can.

Maybe even knowing this you can still sleep like a baby.

But maybe some day your crimes against animal-kind will catch up with you.

And if you ever run into The Squirrel... you better have some nuts.
