Cant finish quest

Hi all!

I am at Weaponsmith Step Two quest and now I need cooper to mine but where quest takes me i can not find any,I spent way too many time trying to find it alredy.I did buy rusty pick.

Is that quest buged or am I missing something?
Id apreciate some help here.

Did you use your pick on the yellow orbs thats dancing above the ground? (or do you have a looter pet)
