Viable class PvE wise?

Hiya, I'm returning player from lvl 45 patch, back from nezeb on na servers when it was still up.
I played a mage and i quite enjoyed it but I want to try something else? What's a strong pve class that always has a spot in parties, and is strong and can solo in terms of PvE?
I was looking at bard and summoner? Any replies greatly appreciated!

All classes are viable.

While most players only mean to help, their opinion can only help you make a base decision.

It is in your ability to customize and fluently use the class to your utmost best determines the quality of the class. Not other's experiences.
