Lost characters in account transfer

To anyone who lost their characters during the account transfer, how did you resolve it? I filed a ticket with my.com, and was ignored. I contacted Wraith directly, and while he tried to help, ultimately he was powerless. Someone suggested changing my gPotato email address and creating a new my.com account with it, but that accomplished nothing.

Yep, I would like to know this as well because my in game husband also still cannot get his account back.

you need to make another new or diffrent emai account , I don't recall exactly , but I think you go to gpotato and change the email on your gpotato account to the new email , confirm it , then goto old allods and hit account transfer and use the new email to make my.com account. I had to do this when it said there was no allods account found or you haven't played allods or whatever it says

Your ticket have never been answered ?

Is it a NA account or EU account (i think it's NA right ?)
Are you sure you took the NA transfer link ?
I read at the beggining of this tranfer that a lot of NA players get confused with tranfer link.

One possibility is to try again the transfer following those instructions point by point (it is very important, every step is important, above all, those that tells your friend to log out of every gpotato or my.com sites) :

Hi, I was able to get my toons back so I thought I should post how.

First things first: LOG OUT OF EVERYTHING. Log out from My.com forum, and GPotato sites.

Step 1) You need a new email. Create a new one.

Step 2) Make a NEW My.com (allods forum) account using the NEW EMAIL

Step 3) Make sure you are signed onto My.com using the new Email account you just made.

Step 4) GO HERE if you are from NA Allods, or GO HERE if you are from EU Allods and click on "Transfer Account" and log into GPotato. YOU HAVE TO USE THE GPOTATO SITE YOUR ACCOUNT IS ON (I was making the mistake of using the EU GPotato site).

Step 5) Once you are logged into GPotato AND My.com(with your new email). Click on the "Allods Online", this should take you back to Allods page.

Step 6) On the Allods page you will get a message, click on "Migrate". and you're done

Step 7) log into Allods using the new email and CLICK ON THE SERVER YOUR TOON IS ON. It will show 0 toons unless you click on it

But if it doesn't work, i think that your friend will have to send another request, with infos about its account :
gpotato ID / region (NA) / email used to make the transfer and create my.com account / specifiy if he has recieved the verification email / names of its toons.

Keep in mind that no characters were lost, they still exist in database. It's a transfer issue.
Sometimes, it's just a tiny error in the e-mail address choosen to create my.com account that blows everything :/.

He can do up to here, however, both of those "GO HERE" links are linked to the exact same website and it is " http://en.gpotato.com/Transfer/Allods.aspx " and that confuses me... Are both the transfer links supposed to be the same? With " en. " before them?

There are not the same ;)
en.gpotato.eu is EU website, and en.gpotato.com is NA website.
So your friend needs to start again the transfer from en.gpotato.com

This "en" at the beggining also confused me at the time i was checking NA forums :D.

Hello,

So the only solution is sending a new ticket :

And then in the request, he will have to give the most informations he can.
- gPotato ID (no password !)
- its account status : http://en.allods.com/user
- original region's account (NA)
- email used to create its my.com account (no password !) during the transfer
- indicate if he ever recieved the confirmation email from my.com at the creation of its my.com account
- email used to send its first request to allods_support@corp.my.com (if he sent a request by e-mail)
- name of its toons
- error messages he encounters
- any other relevant information he can think of

I've given up. Clearly, the so-called customer support here is worthless. They've ignored two trouble tickets, and Wraith (the only employee who even attempted to help) is powerless. When and if mail.ru hires competent staff, great. But until then, I'm done.
