This is my current DPS build (includes 2 mage pages, half the WM rubies). The general idea is that critical hits generate blood and also allow you to insta-cast Wandering Fever and Vamp/HoD (makes HoD cost only 1 blood). An endgame build with 40% crit or higher can be really spammy and requires no casting time.

As for leveling, you will want to follow roughly the same build. Focus on Hellion until you can unlock Lurker.

This is sort of a "core rubies" build that shows you the rubies and talents you need for leveling in order to make your build function.

It does not include the very necessary % increase rubies and a few others. Most important for leveling is probably the 2 skull rubies at the top of the hellion grid. The reason I suggest Lurker as soon as you can get it is because blood is very hard to get until you can raise your crit to above 25-30%, and the DPS of lurker combined with extra blood is more DPS from levels 40-71 than normal Hellion. After you get your WoD at level 75, you should use something like my build that I posted above.

Rotation is precast Life Tap, stand and cast Wandering Fever, cast Avid Shadows, HoD (to proc vamp/life tap cast), Life Tap. For leveling, you will rely on Hellion tanking until you get Lurker for blood spam. Neurotoxin is useless until you get the rubies for it, so just build it up later when you have the rubies and talents for it.

For me, Life Tap does the most DPS, then Wandering Fever, HoD, Hellion + his extras, Avid Shadows/Neurotoxin (both do around 10%).

Though with 8.0.1 around the corner getting blood will be easier, because summoners get a new ruby one allows you to flash like a mage and give a buff to your party member/s or a debuff to a enemy and you generate x amount of blood, depending on cool down it will help us with rushing.

downside they remove blood aegis, so no aoe shields for party.

I just realized neither of the builds I posted include this ruby. This ruby is very important.

Make sure you don't overlook it!

Well damn, did not know it was 40 second cd, but still can use it wisely to jump between certain groups when it is available, i am curious if it is effected by swiftness as-well.
