Snow Storm And Chains of ice - To take or not to take?
Just as tittle says to take snowstorm and chains of ice?
If yes say why, if no say why
Its kinda usefull for farming, i guess.
Ask Onor.
Lol who's Onor? Also i like the Disturbed pic
Onor is a skilled Mage, i kinda like him.
Hes league I'm empire so that won't be possible
And if I combine Snowstorm with the cd and casting time reduction rubys, what do i get? The description of snow storm says it deals dmg every 2 secs, so with original casting snowstorm would deal 3 times damage but with casting reduction i only get to chanel it about 4 sec give or take
so won't dmg decrease?

snowstorm does very little damage, is doesn't worth, chains of ice are good for cc when you have alot of mobs/pvp, usefull to cast ice comet/meteor and finish em
Fireofdeath -70 - demonologist
Puffypuf - 65 - furball warden
Rensy - 65 - paladin
Akyrra - 70 - psionicist healer
Turquiose - 60 - bard
Springfull - 60 - mage
FoxBee - 31 warden
Thought so, that it does little dmg, i will not take them if it were casted not chanelled would have been better
Not true. I have both in my pve build as well as prismatic lightning, and also i got relics for that (thats a must-have if you take them so they can do a decent dmg).
Snow storm is an aoe skill which is great on allods (and mass pvp) where you have groups of mob - it does not aggor the mobs like others aoe skills.
Chains of ice is good for pvp and pve. In pvp it stops a target for 10s (although the target can use range weapons to hit you, but warriors aren't that bright ).
In pve it immobilize many mobs around you. I'm using chains after I cast ice grave on 2 targets and the rest is coming at me, then a tank can easily take aggro one by one off me.
The downside is that even with the rubies, Snow Storm (as well as Prismatic lightning) use huge amount of mana, so basically you can use them 2-3 times before you run out of it.
The upside is they don't need forces (Snow storm and Prismatic, Chains need 1 frost point) and Snow storm doesn't have cooldown.
Thank you ser, that was a kind of answer i was hoping for when i posted this question.
