1. Rowdy's DPS is very low so your bloodthirst won't help him much, however it helps other mercs and double heal buff should affect heal from matron as well. Mercs depend on your runes and they scale with your level as well. They have some pretty basic stats I believe, like proficiency+vitality are at some fixed level and vigor+stamina scale depending on your level. They don't have concentration or bloodlust, but you can buff them with bloodthirst to make em heal up faster.

3. Most precious reward is +100 Caution. You get it when finish up in the top 100 by prestige. Resets every two weeks. Order Shop resets once in two weeks as well, the better you do prestige-wise the better are the rewards (both quantity and quality). Winners of Trial of Blood receive increased number of potions.

1. How exactly are mercs calculated? I've heard they depend on the buyer's runes, but that doesn't make sense for different levels. Do they have stats like normal players? If I (support bard) pop a buff that gives +350 bloodlust, will I see a difference in how much Rowdy heals himself? Will the double heals buff work on Matron?
gearscore & runes from what i saw, maybe other factors aswell (?)

2. How do I do the class trainer ruby quest? This is the one where you have to collect 100/80/80. I can't find any info on where to find these items.
they are in different locations, you originally found them by searching al the areas, the addon the user above me posted helps a LOT
if you are impatient you can buy the box from itemshop to get it faster (imo its NOT worth buying, its just 1 ruby!)
i made a habit logging on and off at a location where a astralgem is so i have 2x a day a cance of getting one

3. What is the deal with Orders? Do people really pay attention to them? I see I can get free amalgam, meteorite fragments, etc. Can I only receive these gifts once? How do I receive more? There is literally no information about this in the game.
order is good to gain buffs: 1 day more damage (do astralgearup this day!), 1 day more reward from BG, 1 day more exp for leveling, 1 day more lootfrom farming KOE, the other things do not matter

As stated above for question 2, you will find the green ones are alot easier to get than the others because if you are league, then you go novograd - siveria once you checked each location the 1 spot you started at initially will be reset and so you can just keep going in a loop checking each spot, the other 2 you have to check each region and gather both at the same time, just use your map when you download the cartographer addon, it actually does not take long to get the ruby if you are dedicated to getting that ruby.
