not really, it will be the same as the already existing server but only higher exp / gold rate
just without an exchangeNPC as it seems (?) so the x3 gold wont be useful in the end
same with the x3 exp, its nice to level up fast but when you already have a level 75 on new frontier.... well then it becomes less interesting

Ich haven't read one post in this forum of a player eager to play on the new server, so i guess the population won't be too high...

I will play for sure. I will not pay attention to people who try to make it look like no one will play and in that manner decrease population. New start, why not? Just because others have invested tons of time and money on New Frontier, that does not mean others wanna enjoy being raped over and over.

people who will play the new server are one of the next lists .

1-people who are afraid to be ass kicked in new frontier cuz of people with cs and gear.
2-people who always play pservers for the fun in the beginning.
3-people who wants to group up with friends in one new fresh game.
4-people who are interested in breaking records such as killing bosses with low gear and cs.

im pretty sure the population will be around 50 lig 50 imps.

5- popel who wanna kidnap names for gold
6- people overwhelmed by the choices in serverlist
7- popel who wanna cash afap to be the king of the hillbillys
8- mmmose.spambots

im pretty sure poplation will be fast 100/100 and faster 10/10 coz bgs wont open and guildfights will be ridiculous

Whoever plans to play on it is either plain stupid to realize that its another cashgrab method by the notorious Allods team OR is just willingly giving this game on life support more quick cash to increase their ego levels for couple months before the server merges.

Edit: If they rly want to revive the game they should bring back the Allods version 1.0 the best allods there is. god knows I would love to play it again

Yeah, I am going to play on the new server, if only to have a more quiet spot, away from the crowd of entitled cashers that currently keeps spitting poison at the very idea of there being a new server at all.
Of course they dislike the idea of there being a place where their years of cashing the hell out of the game don't really matter. How dare the publishers! The only thing they would dislike even more than that is if the new server actually became populated somehow, and if the only ones remaining on New Frontier were people of their own rune range, because of the decrease in "filthy two-hit peasants in PvP".
They'd never let you know, but for many of them these are their lifeblood, they're addicted to those 5er-runed noobs that they can crush under the weight of the money they spent, and they don't want them to leave for another server.

I doubt that the new server is going to be popular, but it will have its little share of players, and for those newer or returning players who are sick of getting their backsides handed to them by ganking elitist cashers, it's a pretty good alternative.

However, this is not going to be a server without CS, so sooner rather than later, it won't matter again.

Absolutely agree, but there actually is a p2p server where everyone has the Dame chances - why not play on that server but on a new p2p where people will be full cashed within months?

Because when you do eventually catch up enough in cash shop and gear, you can be merged into the other f2p server. On p2p, the population will always be dead.

This is from someone who played P2P at launch and loved it. But I quickly grew disinterested when the population started dying and I lost interest in doing all that work for a dead server.

Now, I still haven't decided if I'm going to give this server a shot or not. The server has to have enough of a population to keep queues popping to keep me interested. I have a feeling a lot of people will show interest until that one person decides to throw $5k into the game and starts destroying these people in PvP. People will leave in droves the same way they have always done, and that will probably keep me with one toe on the sidelines ready to bail once again.

We've been trying to rebuild the server for a while but everyone having the idea of "the server is dead" and not trying to help increase the population is really concerning, especially when all that is between them saving money a lot of money is a population. It's truly a really fun server with some really cool people on it, I just wish more people would be more inclined to try and help the server.

I'm aware that the server is in a tough spot, but its just the way it is. People don't want to spend money + time on a server if you have to play at peak hours just to get anything done. In order to recruit people on to the server, you basically have to hope that they are patient enough to wait for a small chance of a population recovery... I would love it if P2P recovered in population, I would join that train without a second thought, but as it stands now, I have no interest in joining in.

I don't make it a habit of going around and trying keep people away from playing p2p, but I am going to give my honest opinion when someone is trying to discourage someone from playing one server that I may be interested in, in order to recruit them onto another.
