may be for most of you it's old
but i have just founded
this ru vid about mobile APP for in game chat

the question is:
if i found or made an EU version
is it allowed to use for stay connect with guild even when away from PC?

Wow nice find, look's like the only thing that is needed is translation and maybe a port to a web version also if possible due to authentication. Because in the video the app seems to fully function.

If you need help, I'm available. (I have collaborated for a few Android apps and also have flash experience with limited Java knowledge if a web port is possible)

Unfortunately it seems it uses allods.ru portal instead of my.com's that we use I will still download it and analyze to see if a quick port for our version is possible.

Can't be installed on my device :( What's so special about it that it can't run on an arm6 proc?

maybe arm4 would work?

i think the android sdk's still thave the arm4 version included in the emulators

You can't install it as you need account for RU App Store, the app is made for Russian servers I will try and see if I can make it for our server.

Use Adnroid Development Kit to run it on ur PC or some other 3rd Party Tool

Not possible, Mail.ru needs to add API for our portal like they have for allods.ru at mobilemanager.allods.ru, untill than not possible to port for our version of allods.


The app just pulls data from mobilemanager.allods.ru and adds graphical interface for android thats it, so without Mail.ru installing mobilemanager on our portal nothign we cna do.

If they didn't add anything special on top, the russian servers are using XMPP/Jabber to let the app connect/exchanging messages.

http://mobilemanager.allods.ru/AccountSe…pFrontEnds.json Lists the available endpoints.

If Xmpp is not enabled on our servers(or not reachable from the outside), well...this is not going to be easy/possible I fear. If it is enabled, bulding an app to access the ingame chat should be quite possible, even without the russian app standing by. (It seams they use Smack)
