I don't know what do you mean about a pet, the thing that follows you all the time? Or the thing that collects the loot for you? Or the thing that you ride to move with higher speed that is called a mount.
The 1st one is just a shape, you can get it from premium, raids hard mode, and some strongbox,
The 2nd one you can get it for like 5 hours trial in coba pleatue, and you can buy the permanent one from the boutique, and you can buy a thing for it that makes it loots the herbs and minerals
The 3rd one... The mount you can get it from various places, prophetic cards, boutique, summer resort, races, strongboxes, AND currently there is the snow resort even which you can get a 16.5m/s mount called furnance for 3500 snowflakes (you need to be at least level 20 to get there, if your level is sufficient you will see a snow thing on the bottom left corner and just click to go there, or talk to any anniversary NPC and teleport to snow resort). You can get snowflakes from doing quests, spammming and grinding till you get the 3500, I think the best way is the fortress quest.

we got the Jeorba from the take force event, the little demon you can get from the premium system and you can buy it from the cash shop for like 1K BC and some one told that you get a pet from the 1st or the 2nd boss at observatory and we had one that you get it from the strong boxes the mini titan, and you can get a pet from the collector edition as well
