for leveling, if you can, avoid determination as you usually wont get the % high enoug up to profit from it
however if you cant avoid it you can still play with it ofc, its not gamebreaking or something

if its troublesome let it be
leveling is too short to worry about these things

my hint was just pointed for the case you finish a quest and it lets you choose the reward, in this case i would choose the gearpiece without determination

when you kill mobs watch your determination bar (und lifebar)
if its below 66% the determination efectively reduces your dmg (prof would be like deter at 66% all the time)
only if its above 66% its better than prof
and my experience is while leveling it wont go over 66% usually

but again, dont get crazy over these things, only in endgame its really a good idea to watch yourstats a bit

and what about def stats? i think about concentration/caution/survivability mix.

as mainyl healer myself getting 40% more heals on a target is really good for pve especially with some compass bosses that do aoes. Caution isnt very useful unless you do some solo content i guess

Critchance is mainstat for necromancer
other stats can be used in different combinations

you can build something with doubleattack which is a good choice since 9.0 even for classes which dont rely on that stat primarily

critdmg is also a possibility for all classes relying on crits

"full determination" for PVE endcontent is a safe bet and most recommended if you want "plug and play" (but still have critchance! dont cancel the critchance, try to have 40-50% critchance)

depending on situation you can also go for other combos but these are mostly specialised cases which are probably not worth noting here (by the time you recognize these special situations and want to spec for them you also know how to distribute your stats to achieve your desired target )

for defense i recommend high enough concentration so your shield is always high + rest into bloodlust
matron often does not heal fast enough so this can make the difference in staying alive or geting killed

(if you have a fixed party with a dedicated healer you could skip bloodlust but usually ppl dont have that)

personally im too lazy switching stats everytime + buying the insigna so i often just go full caution + rest = bloodlust
in PVE i set conclave to bloodlust (bad / no healer) or concentration (good healer) and in PVP to caution for lasting even longer in battle
