New here - how to claim starting gifts?

I just started the game and had seen some post mentioning about starting gifts. How exactly do I claim these starting benefits?

create char -> do "1st adventure" (the starting-instance)
then look in your bag (press B) and change to the tab "Boutique"
there is a chest-item
right click it

Awesome ty I didn't realize that tab. Somehow the chest included way to many things and even made my character lv75 which has just confused me even more. I rather just level up normally without getting boosted. The server tossed me by default into Equilibrim, should I be in the other f2p server? Is this one and new frontier the same?

Welcome aboard mr. 5 min game-play, the F2P equilibrium server has less population and people complain about BG's(Battle-Ground) and stuff not popping-up. So the new frontier has more people, but they have more progress in terms of CS(Cash-Shop) items I think.

You can make an alternative character that shares all the good stuff, so I recommend to pick a good class and try to reach 80 and get gear so you can get it, its called an Reincarnation, for the your situation you can make 2 of them one "Aidois" which comes at level 70 from the start and you can make it one time per character so name, and pick wisely, the 2nd one you can play from scratch.

How to get my reincarnation set?
-First of all you need to be max level ( that's why I told you to quest with the 75_80 quest line, I recommend getting a guild with +20%exp and you already got too many Folio of knowledge in your bag, use them wisely)
-Then teleport to "Isle of revelation, Master's citadel" go to the upper part of it ( after teleportation go to the center press Z and pick the option that says Master something)
-Search for a Girl, Klavida she will have 3 quests to give you, they are repeatable, you need to do each one of them 10 times, after that you can unlock the reincarnation and use the Item in your boutique bag called "Iridescent jar" if you don't use it within 30 days it'd be gone forever.
-you can start from the 0 but with all the OP stuff you have buffed and strong not having any problems dealing with mobs.

i strongly recommend to make a char on "New Frontier" server due to population
if you want to level up normally (great decision!) just make a new char and let the box in your inventory, use it when you feel ready :)
once you have played more its contents will help you greatly on your way

and yes the game has a LOT of things so take time ^^

Actually you can just open chests and use some items from them.
Simply left scroll that levels you up in bag. Using all other stuff will make your life way more comfortable.

ok so I made it to level 80 and started the quest with that chick. Question is can these be soloed? I went into the cave of tiki (i dont remember the name) but I have to do first step 10 times. Which is a certain trial and I was able to beat the first but the second one one shots me after like a minute. Not sure if i am to do these in a group or what?

Cave tka-rik trials are only solo. You can't even enter zone while in party.
Trials are chosen randomly from certain set so just number of trials says nothing.
If you got one shoot it means you did something wrong.

Well you have many trials depending on each one you should do something, 10 trials= 1 challange:
-Orb of greed: talk to klavida so you can get a buff to collect orbs without getting damage, 10 of them will complete the trial.
-Portal of luck: just jump, it may be calculated as 2 instead of 1.
-The awakening: an Immune destroyer that will wake up after 1 min or 10 stacks, you should hit mobs before they explode next to him else he gets a stack, each stack will increase his DPS killing the sleeping one will finish the trial.
-Carnage: you see many small mobs kill 10 of them and the big boss will appear, kill him to finish the trial.
-Cattleman: 3 colored hound demons appear and 3 circles appear randomly in the cave, place each one of them on the right color he will get huge damage, else he will be healed, killing the 3 of them finish the trial.
-Astral poison: you get a 1 min debuff that deals continuous damage to you, killing mobs will heal you, after the debuff fades you will finish the trial.
-Bomb: you have a circle around you that serves as a radar, with cold-warm-ouch-bomb spotted indications respectively, I recommend to move in a spiral manner from center to the side, killing mobs will increase the time before the bomb explodes.
-demon hunting: you have a talisman (option "z") when you use it it spawns demons the number and difficulty increases each time, you need to wipe like 3 or 4 waves to finish this trial.
-Demon ancestor: a demon that spawns more demons, just dps.
-demon of void: a demon that spawns small demons and makes an AOE(area of effect) damage around him you need to dps him fast and don't stick much next to him.
-Fire demon: a demon that suddenly blinks and starts to fire at your place you can jump with option "z"
-extremely cold: a demon that slows you down and then deals aoe damage where you stand, orbs debuff a stack of the effect similar to the upper one if you ask me.
-A trial that I don't remember the name of it: you get option "1" which is an AOE meteor that hits demons you need to hit like 15 demons at least to finish the trial.
-test of speed: you find many mobs and blue spheres and red ones you need like 12 red spheres to finish the trial, the blue ones give you +ve buffs shields and aoe damage etc...
-Four elements: I think its the hardest one for rookies, but its easy just grab the 4 elementals and kill them next to each others pull the dmon to the place you've killed them on spam buttons "z,x,c,v" repeat, dealing direct dps to the demon works but it takes too much time.
-the invulnerable demon: he takes 0 damage unless you kill the 4 little adds then he gets stunned for a certain time and he takes damage.
-Shield of the ancient: gives you Immunity to everything for a certain amount of time
-Weapon of the ancient: an ability that oneshots anything, I strongly recommend to save it for the four elements trial.
