Blessing level?

What is the outcome of granting my blessing exp and leveling it up by using martyr abilities, what difference does it make?

an increase in the basic offensive attribute (vigor)
i strongly recommend to always max the blessings level (right after levelup), its permanent and the costs are "nothing"
