Reincarnation Equipment

Is it just me or has anyone else experienced reincarnations being completely stripped of ALL gear that was on.
To be more clear, I logged in was set to my main progentaror (sp). changed to every reincarnate to get my costumes out of the banks and everyone of them had no gear only quest items in the bag as well. I was wondering if anyone else had this happen?
