Cancel 'Smile of Fortune' buff

Ahoj peeps,
I just started my first character on the game and I have the 'Smile of Fortune' buff. Thing is, I don't want to have it, just want to progress at a normal rate, could someone tell me how to disable it? Can't find an answer on the internet. Seriously tho, I really don't want to play the game with that, and if I could avoid having to wait for two days for the buff to fade off by itself, that'd be great...

just do the quests in normal order then buff wont hinder you from anything, there is no downside at all :)
