The game not working in middle east

my friends in middle east told me that they can't open game launcher and game site without vpn but it worked normally before the last update why is that?

Server moved to Cyprus, that's the only change I can think of. Used to be in Amsterdam but due to lootboxes law, they moved the game's location to avoid the law.

yeah it started few months back when my.com turned into my.games it not only affects allods online game but also the site and other games sites doesn't work without a VPN
