Dominion Bidding

Hello,
I tried finding the link and information, but I can't seem to locate it anymore.
However, the information I was looking for, was referring to Dominion bidding.
I could have sworn it said you could only bid down 5 guild rankings.
(Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)

But...uh..........

This:

Guilds 1-9
Wanted (AIRIN) #4 bid on Les Flibustiers de Nezeb # 50
46 spots
Reborn #7 bid on Battleaxe #13
6 spots

Guilds 10-18

Guilds 19-27
TUGRA #23 bid on Moonstar #49
26 spots

Guilds 28-36
Respawn #33 bid on Northumbria (VLAD) #46
13 spots
Conseil supreme #34 bid on Eminence #41
8 spots

Guilds 37-45

Guilds 46-54

Guilds 55-63


I would love for an explanation for this.

I was talking about this and thinking...
"What does it matter? They're only getting less realgar..."
But....it does matter.
They're denying the little guilds realgar, which is stunting progression of the little guys which is completely unfair and they have absolutely no chance.
Therefore, I would really like an explanation as to why this is being allowed.

I've noticed that from few Dominions bidding now. And I don't think the penalty from bidding below your place still works. Which means when a stronger guild bid on some smaller 10 positions below they gain as much pts as possible without any penalty.
Also the group vs group is broken too, since a group which is (lets say) below 30th place can fight with top 5 guilds 4 times in a row.
Does the team total gs/velhuru not apply? What chances such smaller/weaker guilds have against top 5 guilds? It's just easy pts grinding for the stronger ones.

It's impossible 5 place above, below it's possible but if not too profitable gap (see calculator)

Should be 2-3 Bellow and whatever UP you would like.
IMO
So if you cocky and try to take it out on lot higher guild, by all means, but should NOT be able to "dominate" a lot smaller/weaker guild, just shows your weakness not theirs. :thumbsup:

Haven't played for a long time so I don't know if the Astral-Confrontation-like raid dominion is there already in this version. If it is then you should know defending is significantly easier than attacking - to the point it's really unbalanced. Attacking someone of equal strength is almost certainly doomed to fail unless they simply don't show up.

Heya,

I had a talk with the powers that be, who explained it a bit to me.

while I can't go too much into the workings of it, the summary I received is:

Quoted

it's prohibited to attack a guild > 5 higher
but you can attack any position lower
but you won't gain much of it

if they do beat the lower guild, what they actually do take is minimal.

I hope that helps answer the question.

Wanted gained 0 grains from attacking Flibustiers, and they only lost 4 grains. WANTED only attacked them out of hate lol.

I still think this is really silly.

Why is the game promoting the bullying of little guilds?
Yes, you may only get a few grains, but if you were to attack another guild and fail, you'd get zero.
This way you can guarantee getting SOME grains by bullying on the little guilds.

Can someone please forward this over to the devs and make them realize how ... ass backwards this is?
