Your thoughts on a Class

So I am thinking of trying another class the three that come to mind are mage, summoner, and Psy Noe I have watched pvp videos for all three and there are good aspect in pvp that all three do well. But what are your thoughts whats the better class pros and cons. Please list you thoughts on which would be better damage wise and able to take damage. :thumbsup: PVP and PVE

sommoner, it cuts through questing like a warm knife through butter
also summoner is great at dotting everything in PVP and healing itself for long time#

pvp/pve/healing spec is relatively easy to combine, so it will be a good hybrid
summoner is in asee teph PVP the most enjoyable class! :)

mage does massive damage but if the burst does not kill he is basically dead

psi needs a rework and will get one, but later, so i recommend waiting with it

pvp-wise, in this patch summoner is worst from all 3 (mage, summ, psi i mean)

well before you die you are able to deal a LOT of damage with the dots

so you may die but you deal massive damage

Lol I noticed engineer got soooo bad survivability. .. ?(
Survivability of all classes listed below:
Warrior-die hard
Pladin-bubble, heal n 30% hp increse when in 30% HP
Psi-time back
Summoner-heals, deadrising and blood agaie
Wardern-nb, renew n bark shield
Mage-barriers, invis, flash n immuneshield
Bard-lastchance n songs
Engineer-got none effective
Scout-invis, blink(with ruby) n lasthit

My oppnion on this classes.
Pros and cons for mage :
They r basically glasscannon.
Good brust aoe.
Class is really hard to master.
This class will get really insane when geared.
Needs perfect timming.
Insane brust.

Summy pros and cons:
Sustainable dps.
Good surviblity with heals.
Good aoe but takes time.
F2p.
Easy class to master.
Very likely to get 1hit by other classes.
Low on brust.
Master of cc.

Psi pros and cons :
Op when 1v1.
Hard to master.
Good aoe.
Need perfet timming.
Semi brusti dps.
Good surviblity.



Psi-you need to master me first.
Mage-Newbies stands no chance to control my brustiness.
Summy-I am god of mass pvp master me and I will be your best nakama.

Go mage if you wanna pwn ! 8o
Go psi if you wanna make your target suffer! ;(
Go summy if you wanna be god of cc/dot! 8)

scout has better survivability than engineer :P

psi IS great but as soon as there are multiple enemys psi has a real problem

Thanks guys that was very helpful I will have to think of what one I would like maybe more studying of each class, or maybe wait for patch 5.2 since I can change race to the new one as well as a new class lol.

The only thing the engineer has For Surviblity is the hover pad wish they had a shield like the one I taked about in my suggests..


I have played a mage before but back when they were hard to kill due to them having more barriers and there clones not being on a time limit.

i do know its a new class, and your range means you should be behind the front lines. but honestly, im baffled how squishy i am still with the gear im acquiring. i could only imagine how frustrating it is for other engineers.

hover pad is only against physical damage... so if an engineer faces a class which attacks non-physical there is NOTHING for staying alive :P
