Create a new character/account or play on old char with minimal cash shop

I'm not very up to date with the game. But I somehow remember that new characters nowadays receive a ton of free cash shop items? Am I imagining things or is that an actual thing?
My old char has some minimal cash shop items like lvl 5 runes and just some green CS items. Would I get more than that on a new char?

Hey there!

If you start a new Char you´ll get a handful of stuff that´s correct like some runes! :thumbsup: Also here are some Infos about it. -> runes question
And with the older Chars you also can drop (up to Epic iirc) permanent items in Astral runs.

So if you´re not really "upset" about not playing it actively then you can create a new one and get those items when you turn max lvl. :)

if you get a lot of new cash shop items for a new character, pls put the question:vWHY?

How big is the inflation / year?

The cashshop items also drop when you´re playing on an older Char. Just have to run Astral. And as mentioned in the other Thread you get a level 6 runes set. Which most of even the old Chars have. So if you have a Char with level 6 runes already it doesn´t really matter unless you want to go for the discounts which come when you´re max level.
