how does symbol of faith work?

If i activate a symbol of faith, will i directly get 20,000 faith out of my inactive marks of faith, or does it simply work like the old double xp, i must earn faith for to symbol to actuly give me xtra?

You have 2 options to have them as active :
- either you will buy symbol of fate from botique which costs 60 crystals
- or you will have to farm it by completing quests and farming it from mobs

once you have them open quest log and choose which quest u want to complete you will find option there
