Consider this:
• Lack of 'immediate action' doesn't mean things are ignored, or go unheard, even if it can give that impression.
• Even the changes some assume to be 'easy' go beyond a mere button press, and often require decision making and planning.
• The above also falls in line with workload and priority alongside matters of equal (and often
more) importance that people may not notice.
• I can only emphasize that the CM's have been very quick to collect and present a hefty sum of constructive feedback to the team (with very positive results)
including,
but not limited to, MoS. The problem is that this feedback can often be hard to see when it's buried in derailed threads and/or hateful comments, which don't help you, us, or the team - Hence their deletion.
With that in mind, I have a nugget for you (and for those who read this thread).
A little request that will benefit everybody, as well as an answer to your question.
Yes, we are looking into MoS - though no promises are being made. Just know that your voices have been heard.
I want everyone who is for (and against) a MoS reset to send me a detailed PM answering the simple question:
Why?
Be precise - Be concise - Give valid reasoning, including any and all past and present issues (such as bugs, glitches, abused features etc) but no name and shaming, flaming, or nonsense. "Reset MoS" by itself explains nothing - And it
doesn't speak for everyone, so keep that in mind. We want to take the whole community into account, not just the ones who have been vocal.
Why this way?
Because we get that MoS is important to people and that it is a passion topic that has been ongoing for a long time - But continuous threads based on it will simply scatter feedback or make it unappealing to read.
Make it a sales pitch, or like you are convincing people that it needs to (or shouldn't) happen - And this data will be collected and presented alongside any other feedback gathered from before.
In return,
any and all threads (similar to this one) as well as any further "Reset MoS" bump-posts or non-constructive feedback regarding it will be closed/deleted (from this post onward) for the time being. If they persist, please report the post/thread using the report post button - And direct any worthy feedback to my Inbox (or to any Mod or CM, if you prefer).
Once again, no strings or promises are attached to this request - Just consider it a rolling ball.
