Quests not showing up

Having a problem where quests aren't appearing in Darkwater. Don't have too many quests already and am a high enough level to accept them, they're just not there.

I know I've missed some because my friend has them and I moved onto the next area thinking I'd finished them all.

check if you have completed all previous quests.
Or perhaps it is an account specific issue. You said you know which quest you are looking for.
