is this game even worth playing it ?( ?( ?( ? cuz iv seen alot of negativity and i barely see recent updates , the latest updates were posted months ago it seem like the developers don't put too much attention to this game :( ,, they making it so hard for ppl to download the client cuz their is many places iv bn told to go....

Developpers are constantly working on making new content for this game.
There will be a major update this thursday : http://en.allods.com/news/announcements/…ap-release-date
The 6.0 extension, with the new race, is already announced (and already live on RU servers, and 6.0.01 is on its way).

There is only one place to download the english client : http://en.allods.com/download

this game is definitely worth playing it
i even say its more worth than any other mmo game available, there is a wide-ranging plenitude of things to do
there many nice details and small things to discover

since in russia (where the game originates from) its much more popular and has a much larger playerbase (which obviously generates some good income ;) ) this game have a lot of "care", so there always is new content provided along with balancing and bugfix-updates

there are some negative reviews / forum entries but these are in general made by ppl who are frustrated very fast (means they rant over anything which is not easy achievable)
actually its really fun to play here, i play for over 2 years now, have almost every item and never have spent even 1 cent, so this is what i call real free to play :)

what you cannot expect is that you level up in 4 days, gear 1 day and onehit every other player, but i think thats self-evident ;)
(negative reviews also often come from this kind of players)

there are only 2 servers, for europe & north america (they got merged some time ago)

free server ("new frontier") and
pay-server ("smugglers paradise")

free server has more players

FYI Around 1pm pst is when the server starts dying cause all the fun/big events are done for the day.

In the pay to play server, you will be lucky to see 1-2 players during the evening.
