Quest with Astral Chrysolite etc...

i mean the quest where you can either travel around and collect them or just buy them fast from shop so in the end you get another ruby...

once its done with one char, can a reincarnation unlock this via shards of a mystery-seal? or is is unlocked globally for all reincs like pat5? or does every reinc have to do this again?

Every reinc have to collect them, there is no global unlock of this ruby.

Although it's another money pit unless you want to manually collect them all, it makes sense as it was from the beginning a class/toon bound quest before reincarnations ever existed. They changed the quest name much later on but it was Healer's/Paladin's/Mage's (etc) Way originally.

yes its a money/gold pit, i totally agree
especially where it has to be done for every reinc :S

i plan to solve this quest by simply logging out and in at a place where these crystals are
this way everytime i log in or out i have a chance of getting one :)
takes time maybe but im not in a hurry and someday it will be complete, for free
