Hosachiguru Farmland is actively making an effort to change the narrative and channel the efforts towards a sustainable and regenerative future. We do this by:
Creating a positive carbon footprint: Creating an asset class that reduces the impact on the environment and converts lands to the sustainable arable biodiverse agroforest. As a company, we have planted over a million trees and continue to manage this for our Co farmers.
Our Approach to Soil and Water : With every passing year we endeavor to enrich soil carbon and increase the water tables whilst ensuring we are also creating a rich flora and fauna. We do this through extensive research on the soil and implementing practices such as no-till, mulch, micro bunds, diverse plantations, water recharging systems, etc.
Biodiversity : Syntrophic and permaculture farming methods increase biodiversity and create a haven for flora and fauna. They ensure that the species selected are native and the method of planting makes more energy available for each plant and creates a self-sustaining ecosystem for better production of food.
Community and economy : Livelihood food for local farmers and staff.
