Dear Sarnaut,
Battles and skirmishes are more about results than they are about displaying your prowess in combat - and there are times when landing a killing blow in the heat of battle simple isn't satisfying enough. However, there are some out there who revel in the brutal beauty of battle, or wish to do a lot more than simply kill their nemesis.
Within the Radiant Strongbox of the Carnifex lies fragments of an old document, written by a long dead Master of the Martial Arts. Combine these fragments to create Chapters, Pages, Parts, or even whole copies of the Carnifex's code. Once you have done so, take this documents to the Goblin Banker in the Boutique Hall and he will teach you a new PvP move – Fatality.
Now you have an opportunity to make a grisly statement on the battlefield as you watch your fallen enemies writhe in agony during class-specific death animations!

Doctrine of the Carnifex | Provides the unique ability "Aegis", which activates whenever you kill a character. Majestic wings of Doom will also unfold from your character per fatality performed. By killing an enemy character, "Aegis" increases your movement speed by 20% and reduces incoming damage by 40% for 6 seconds. If you have the "Fatality" ability, it will also dispel all negative effects from your character. |

Fatality is obtained via a special item called Carnifex's Code, found within a Radiant Strongbox of the Carnifex - and each class has its own unique Fatality. When the Carnifex's Code is activated, the character acquires the Fatality in the form of a passive-spell which can be activated and de-activated at will, similar to helper pets.
A Fatality can only be performed on enemy characters in PvP (ie. it cannot be used on monsters) - and your character must strike the final blow to activate it. Lastly, fatality's cannot be performed on enemies that are underwater or on an Astral ship.
If the video wasn't enough - here's a brief glimpse of what each class is capable of:

Warrior - Drive a stake through your opponent's core and if that's not severe enough, set their body on fire and watch it burn to a crisp! | Paladin - Trap your foe in a steel furnace, and listen to their cries as they roast to death. The chamber will open to reveal their scattered ashes! |

Scout - Your opponent's body will bounce up and down on a minefield of explosions! Dancing blades will move to the music of their screams, hacking your opponent limb from limb. | Healer - The Servant of Light descends from the heavens, wraps its arms around the opponent from behind, and rips open their rib cage - Try resurrecting that! |

Warden - Tangled in growing vines and helpless to move, your enemy is squeezed until his insides burst, and the fleshy remains become no more than compost for the soil! | Psionicist - Zap your rival with a pulsating electric storm! The surge will continue to make their corpse twitch, even after their last breath has faded beneath the acrid stench of their fried carcass. |

Mage - Entomb your adversary in a wall of ice. When their skin becomes blistered with frostbite, give them a warm welcome to the afterlife by summoning a flaming meteor from the Astral, to turn their frozen cube into a puddle of slush! | Summoner - Fallen undead warriors breach the surface from below and clutch your enemy by the ankles, as he is hastily pulled down and feasted upon by a sea of ravenous zombies. |

Bard - Engulf the opponent in a swirling maelstrom of piercing instrumental mayhem until their ear drums rupture. Applaud the killer performance as a siren tunes in, and plunges a sword through the opponent's vocal cords! | Engineer – Your enemy is electrocuted by a powerful device. This great art of engineering rips off your foes' flesh so you can feed the bones to your turrets. |
This sinister sale starts on July 20th and ends on July 28th, so if you want to enact bloody revenge on the battlefield and strike fear into the hearts of surrounding enemies as they watch their allies being torn to shreds in vicious ways - the Radiant Strongbox of the Carnifex is for you!
