Heroes of Sarnaut!

An important update is coming soon—the game will introduce a set equipment system, opening up new possibilities for character development and offering more permanent rewards that retain their power even when the season changes.

Our goal is to make gear more diverse and flexible. We aimed to give players more freedom when building their gear sets, introduce the ability to trade rare items with unique properties, and add a type of reward that retains its value even after the next large update is released.

How the set system works

Set items are based on the Dragonic Aspect equipment and form fully functional combinations. A single set typically consists of six items. Bonuses take effect when at least three items from the same set are equipped and increase with each additional item. When fully equipped, a set provides up to four levels of enhancements—ranging from stat bonuses to special effects that unlock additional combat capabilities for the character.

The power levels of different sets may vary. We will monitor their popularity and, if necessary, increase the power of those that are rarely used or reduce the power of those that become overly versatile.

The bonuses' efficiency depends on the average level of the equipped set items. Current-season items provide the maximum effect, while older items provide a slightly reduced but still useful effect.

Where to get it and how to use

Items with set bonuses can be obtained randomly through various types of activities: * In group activities such as Astral Islands, Distortions, Heroic Adventures, and others. * In raid adventures—such as at the Nihaz's Citadel, the Observatory, or the Sadrok Palace. * In solo activities: story zones, Al-Rihath's quests, and various challenges. * At the auction, players will be able to transfer complete sets to other players.

Each set will be linked to a specific set of activities—you won’t be able to find everything in one place at once. Later on, you’ll be able to change the bonus of an existing item using a rare enhancement component. You’ll be able to dismantle unwanted items to obtain materials or a chance to get special rewards.

Draconic Aspect System Updates

Changes will also be made to Draconic Aspect gear: items will no longer be bound to a character, and their levels will be recalculated and adjusted to match the levels of the current gear. Dragonic Insignias will raise the level of any existing Draconic Aspect item to their own level and will primarily be used to upgrade set items to the current level for the season.

What's next?

In the next patch, we plan to add an in-game library of set bonuses — with its help, you can view the full list of enhancements, their descriptions, and acquisition locations at any time. We are also considering expanding the system: adding sets with non-standard item counts, as well as rare and temporary variants. If such changes are implemented, we will definitely announce them in advance.
