Heroes of Sarnaut!

In Update 16.1, we continue to focus on precise class reworks. This time, the changes affect the Demonologist, as well as the Aspect of Support for the Warden and the Summoner. Below, we’ll go into more detail about the key changes.

Demonologist Changes

In the 16.1 Update the Demonologist rework is designed to address several issues at once. On the one hand, we aimed to expand build diversity—which is why new talents and rubies have been introduced, offering more freedom while choosing builds. On the other hand, targeted balance adjustments have been made to improve the effectiveness of specific abilities and balance the class’s role, particularly in PvP combat. Additionally, some of the changes address long-standing issues: for example, the obsolescence of the Supremacy stat or the “Invasion's” inefficiency, which, despite its high importance, was rarely used in combat.

First and foremost, the Supremacy stat has been reworked. Now it increases all damage dealt by primary sources (physical, dark, and astral) and accelerates the accumulation of Obsession. The previous version only boosted specific skills, making it either too weak or too one-sided. Now, Supremacy will become a fully-fledged combat stat.

The “Invasion” talent will be more effective in combat—we've increased its damage and are revising the demon summoning mechanics to enhance the ability's overall impact in both PvE and PvP matches.

The stats for several abilities have also been updated. The “Soul Devourer” now deals less damage, and its additional effects have been toned down. The “Sigil of Decay” deals reduced damage but applies the “Vulnerability” to all enemies within its area of effect. The cooldown of “Temptation” has been increased to balance its impact on combat.

Among the new rubies, the following stand out:

  • “Irreversible Desecration” — enhances “Desecration,” transforming it from a frequent but weak ability into a more powerful tool capable of influencing the sequence in which abilities are cast
  • “Nihilism” — enhances the “Sphere of Negation”: increases the reduction in incoming damage and further reduces the cooldown of the "Reincarnation" and "Apotheosis" abilities.
  • A new effect has also been added that allows “Sigil of Decay” to stun enemies when triggered and deal increased damage to targets affected by “Temptation.”

Warden and Summoner changes

In this update, we will be making adjustments to the Support Aspect of the Warden and Summoner, among other things. These changes are intended to improve the usability and effectiveness of these classes, as well as to simplify mechanics that are currently too complex.

The Warden’s “Leader’s Roar” ability has been reworked—it now functions more simply and reliably, without complex conditions for activation or effect resolution. This should make the class more appealing in the Aspect of Support.

For the Summoner, the focus was on improving the skill rotation. We’ve reworked several abilities and improved how they interact with one another. In particular, we’ve adjusted the “Bloodletting” ability—it’s now more consistent and fits better into the overall flow of combat.

What's next?

We are continuing to work on the remaining classes. Some of the changes will be included in the next major update, while the rest will be implemented at a later date.

Stay tuned for updates, and see you in the game!
